CALL FOR PAPERS

      CHALLENGES OF GLOBALISING FINANCIAL SYSTEMS

          21 - 22 October 2009
             Amman, Jordan

  The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the
  Hashemite University is pleased to announce its intention
  to hold its first scientific conference under the title
  CHALLENGES OF GLOBALISING FINANACIAL SYSTEMS.

  The conference will take place on Wednesday and Thursday 21
  and 22 October 2009 in Amman, Jordan.

  The conference aims at bringing together academicians and
  practitioners with interest in the business disciplines of
  accounting, finance, management, economics, or business
  law. It provides a forum for presenting and discussing new
  research and current issues in business and related topics.

  TOPICS:

  The conference committee welcomes submissions of research
  manuscripts related to the following areas:

  1)  The regulatory environment of financial markets.
  2)  Control and monitoring policies by central banks around
      the world.
  3)  The current international financial crisis.
  4)  Consequences of the current international financial
      crisis on emerging financial markets.
  5)  The Islamic financial system as a new financial system.
  6)  Asset-backed securities and securitization.
  7)  International accounting and auditing standards.
  8)  Risk management and internal control.

  Best Conference Paper Award:

  The Conference will grant best paper award for the best three
  papers submitted to the conference. All the submitted papers will
  be qualified for the best Conference award. The nominated papers
  will be selected after review by the Best-Paper award committee.
  Selected finalists should present their work during the
  conference. A specially- designated certificate will be presented
  during the conference.

  Conference Proceedings
 
  Accepted reviewed papers will appear in the conference
  proceedings that will be published by the Hashemite University.

  FURTHER INFORMATION:

  Fees for participation in the conference are JD 150 or
  USD 215 or equivalent in other currencies. Rooms at the
  conference hotel will be available for accommodating
  participants from outside Jordan for an additional fee.

  PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:

  Researchers interested in presenting papers at the
  conference should submit the full text of their manuscripts
