The Department of
Cultural and Public Relations- one of the most important bodies in the University-
was established in 1995 to assume the following responsibilities:-
- Setting plans and organizing cultural
and public activities
- Supervising the preparations for
conferences, seminars and workshops.
- Enhancing relations between the
Hashemite University
and the governmental and private institutions.
- Issuing publications that convey
the real image of the University and its achievements and activities to the local
and international communities.
- Ensuring media coverage for the
University news.
- Welcoming University guests and
accommodating them according to the university regulations.
- Organizing cultural and scientific
cooperation between the Hashemite University and local and international organizations,
institutions, and commissions based on the Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) signed
with them.
The Department
of The Cultural and Public Relations plans to establish a media club and special
press rooms to cover different events that take place on campus
