About Zarqa :
Zarqa (Arabic: الزرقاء) is a city in Jordan located to the northeast of Amman. At 792,665 inhabitants (2000), comprising 15.5% of Jordan's population, it is the country's second largest city. Zarqa is the capital of Zarqa Governorate Its name means "the blue one."
It's the industrial capital of Jordan, with many factories around the perimeter and Jordan's major oil refinery. Also, it functions as a large military center, with several military camps and firing ranges in the area.
